With my case here, I totally agree with you. When I submitted my original APP, my RCMP and PCC were already 4 month old. And now I got the request to resubmit them. Therefore, it is a good idea for those whose original RCMP and PCC were more than 4 month old at the time you submit your original APP.

Hi, may I ask you, RCMP is the one with fingerprint and we can get it from local place? And PCC is the one we need to get from our own country police department? Am I right? Plz correct me if I am wrong, because it's been over year, and I totally forget what are they.. I better prepare them in advance..

Just want to give info about my application.. I called CIC just now. They said my eligibility and security is completed and all things are looking good now. They are waiting for decision. FYI, I did my medical on May 15, 2015, and paid my RPRF upfront on Jan 18, 2016. So finger cross till then.


Have you called them earlier (lets say on September) or asked for your GCMS notes? I am asking because I want to see if they had already started your eligibility and security at that time. We have the same timeline, but I called the call center and they did not tell me anything.

Yes, note that RCMP is not requested from everyone. PCC is always requested.

Ok.. Thanks.. I guess I have to ask my friend or family to request the PCC in my country, which takes long time to get it. Then take a risk to let them send it to me. OMG...

Exactly, Your country embassy will do that for you OR you can apply online if your country has a website for this purpose.

Received my Medical Request Today!!
After recieved ATIP notes in the moring..what a coincidence..lol, I was pretty sad when looking at it.

Security: Not Started
Criminality: In progress

and the status of other assessmnts are blank.

This is for the first time I heard positive response from them. I will suggest all to pay RPRF upfront as that will fasten your process.

I am wondering Guys, How U can get information from Call center about status of security,n eligibility and criminality.Each time when we asked for that status they said that they don't have access to this information.....

Also, I emailed CPC Ottawa the UMI and E-medical document my Dr gave me on 22nd December 2015.

Has anyone experienced this issue?
Did you have to re-do your medical?

I have emailed CPC Ottawa explaining the issue and will have to see if they reply this week. Very weird.

Yes this is very normal. You will see your ECAS account have a new Medical Received line in a few days. You don't have to do it again. Congrats!

Does your online status shows- "Medical Received" ?

ECAS just shows received and processing (2 lines).

Will wait a few days to see if its updated as per the feedback from 'sf1234'.
