CEC - August 2014 application

Hi - I got a Medical request a few hours ago from CIC however I did my medical upfront on 17th December 2015 (around 1.5 months ago).
Also, I emailed CPC Ottawa the UMI and E-medical document my Dr gave me on 22nd December 2015.

Has anyone experienced this issue?
Did you have to re-do your medical?

I have emailed CPC Ottawa explaining the issue and will have to see if they reply this week. Very weird.

But I would suggest you to reply to that MR email to tell them that you have done Medicals on that date.

There is no sequence. Aug 5 and 15 applicants received MR after Aug 31st applicants. I got one today...so just be patient, it will come

Hey... Seems like you did upfront medical before getting additional test request from CIC, Didn't you ?? If yes, What kind of test did they request for ?

Yes upfront, i dont know what additional tests are required, it is not mentioned in the IME doc i received from cic ottawa.I booked an appointment with the same clinic for next week. The receptionist said she doesnt know what test has been requested, but it will be 80$ unless you are a refugee category. Will post next wednesday if possible when i get the tests done.
Has anyone here been requested additional tests?

Guys somebody said aug 5th got request today, but I cant see a post. M august 7th applicant no request for me yet!!!!!

so guys i got my notes today.. theres good news and bad news..

the bad news is that nothing is changed on the notes.. except for one detail which i will share below..

the good news is that i had ordered these about a month back and i just got my medical request and PCC request last week so it is possible these notes were sent out before the latest updates on my case.

the notes are dated jan 8th and eligibility is not started, security not started and criminality is in progress. but I got my PCC request 20 jan and medical on 30th jan so im hoping the eligibility and everything was set to passed and the notes are not updated yet. will find out when i request next time i guess..

So the one thing that changed in DEC 2015 was the location of my file.. it now says its at location: CEC CA review.. does anyone know what that means?

I have read it somewhere in other forum. May be this will help.

From what I understand:

CEC CA REV = CEC Case Analyst Review
They wrote the looong comment like "PA status...Online information verified....Language....Recommend Passed/Review required by officer"
They are the first who assess our work experience.

CEC OFF REV = CEC Officer Review
Our case will go to this location to be reviewed by VO, they can assess our experience as the final and mark "passed".
