I wish that every one understands the reason of this forum which is to help each other and answer the questions other applicants might have. instead of just posting comments and irrelevant information and more over spread the negativity of some people.

We are all frustrated and nervous but that does not mean be negative



please Guys be positive CIC started looking into our files, and that's a good things, remember there are lots of applications under different categories that this department is trying to tackle a well. Application is a different case and checkup required.

I did upfront medicals and I submitted it with my application. However the situation is that medicals are valid for one year. Mine definetly expired now. I am expecting to receive medical request when my time comes. So far, nothing.

I am a siècleNT reader My file recieved on 21 August and Aor recieved on 16 December and did upfront medical 6 month ago and they updated my ecas in sep 2015. Now I haven't heard back from them. I just want to know wheather I got mr or not. God bless us.

Hey, don't worry.
I have not done upfront either, still waiting for the request.
Have not heard anything from cic since aor. I am not ordering any notes.

Just be patient, im sure we will hear from them in next month x

that's defects of upfront medical , suggest apply GCMS or call CIC , they may help give some clue or not.

Thanks Guys for pulling up everyone's hopes, Mubin Sultan : There are thousands of applicants, very few of them are on this forum, if no one posts any MR request on this forum for a day or two does not mean CIC suddenly stopped and will increase processing times. If they do, we'll deal with it as we all have been doing since Aug 2014. But please dont assume things. Things are moving and they'll move faster when we all believe in it.

this was exactly my thinking, i think when you get the medical request, it indicates that there is progress on your file.

as you already did upfront and it is not expiring anytime soon, I don't think you will get a request from cic. like yix said, best thing is to call or apply for notes. or you can see what the general trend is in the forum, this will give you some idea of where they are with processing
