CEC - August 2014 application

I am an August 25th applicant and also just got the RPRF email.

We haven't done any medicals, but we have lived in Canada for the past three years and we do our annual examinations.

Could it be that they decided to finally speed up all the old backlog? Maybe Trudeau did something?

I received a similar e-mail. Appears to be a glitch in the system if people who have already had a decision made are receiving such requests.

I just received the RPRF request, however I have NOT paid upfront.
Wondering if they forgot my medical request...

My boyfriend paid his in November and received the request again in December and again today. It might be a glitch or maybe its a mass update to try and clear up the remaining applicants and make things move faster....I would call CIC to make sure before anyone starts to panic.

even after calling, what should be asked - "got an rprf request, is it legit ?" of course they are gonna say if its from so and so email address, it is legit.

or what should be the question - any ideas ?

I'm so fricking pissed. My husband called me telling me of the email he got and I started crying because finally things were looking up and then I get in the forum and I just feel like crying all over again but of frustration. What a way to get our hopes up for nothing. I still have the hope that is an actual update and not an error.

ask CIC that you received RPRF without medical.. is it normal?

I guess you and other guy mesuriziv are spamming not CIC. why don't you tell your boyfriend to call cic.

How am I spamming? I am explaining personal experience...thought that was what this thread was for. Help others understand what is going on. I did not say anything was 100%. My boyfriend doesn't need to call CIC, he already paid his RPRF in November when he got the request the first time.

August 18 applicant. Just received RPRF request, but I have already paid upfront with my application. I sent them the AOR with my receipt number.
Did my medical upfront last year.
