CEC - August 2014 application

Hi guys,

I am a Aug 28th applicant and my friend is a Aug 18th applicant. We both just got RPRF request 10 minutes ago.

I didn't even get a request for medical yet. Has this happened to anyone else?

They asked me to send my 2014 T4 on June 12th 2014, I did send it, but never got confirmed. is that normal? Canada post showed they received my documents 2 days after I send it.

My timeline:
Aug 8th 2014 application received.
June 12th MR
June 20th Received

CIC does not send any letter confirming the receipt of your docs, the Canada post if mailed and auto reply if emailed serves as confirmation.

I suggest you call CIC call Center and ask if they have received them 1-888-242-2100, the agent can tell if there is any documents added to your file

CEC Application received by CIC - August 6, 2014
Medical request - May 14, 2015
Medical reports received by CIC - June 11, 2015
waiting for passport request.

According to CIC website, it takes up to 3 months after medical reports receive by CIC. But it's been more than 4 months and still waiting for passport request.

we have almost the same timeline, I am here waiting as well

I am not sure how that is happening, seems CIC are not consistent in the procedure.

I notices in July 2014 an applicant got his MR then RORF then the medical was made and received

MEDICAL REQUEST: JANUARY 06, 2016
RPRF : JANUARY 08,2016
MEDICAL DONE: JANUARY 11, 2016
RPRF PAID: JANUARY 11,2016

Same here. Austust 5th applicant. RPRF paid upfront on June 6th (reflected in GCMS notes). Got RPRF request 20 mins ago.
Wondering if it's bug in their system sending RPRF to everybody or they really try to speed up the process.

I just received my RPRF email now, I looked back at the upgron RPRF email I had sent out, it was sent to wrong email address : so I resent the email to the correct one from todays email..
Hope the process speeds up for all!

People from June-October 2014 applicants are receiving RPRF today, even people who have already landed and received PR cards. Might be a system error. Here's to hoping it's not!

yes, send the receipt to CPCO-Cost-recovery.CTDO-Recouvrement-frais@cic.gc.ca as per the request

I suggest you CC CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca to be on the safe side

I just received the RPRF request, however I have NOT paid upfront.
Wondering if they forgot my medical request...

That's what the email looks like:

This is in reference to your application for a permanent resident visa, which has been found eligible in the Class for which it was submitted. Admissibility review (security, criminality and/or medical) is still ongoing; you will be contacted if additional information is required for that purpose.We wish to remind you at this time that your Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) is outstanding. You must pay this fee before a permanent resident visa can be issued. The RPRF must be paid once for yourself as a principal applicant and once for your spouse or common law partner, if you have one.

If you delay the payment of the RPRF, your security or medical results may expire, which would delay the issuance of your visas. We therefore encourage you to pay the RPRF as soon as possible
