Hi All,

Was wondering if no eye brow would be raised. My spouse' CEC application has passed medicals.

I am a Phd student in Canada but currently doing an internship in the US. Does anyone by chance know if this is okay: doing an internship in the US, but still a registered student in Canada (internship is not required for my program though, but it's directly on my Phd research thesis).

I was wondering if CIC won't say I'm supposed to be in Canada studying.

Thanks.

? Do you mean your CEC application, on which your spouse is the Principal Applicant, has passed medicals? (The way you said it made me wonder if you were included on the application, as you should be).

Of course it is OK and will have no impact on your PR application. As for the impact on your Study Permit, I assume you are still registered at your Canadian university and had the internship approved?
