Medical Passed: March 7th.
Received Procedural Fairness Letter: August 28th.
This letter was issued to prove my intent of residing outside of Quebec.

I am in Montreal working on Closed WP. My wife (Open WP) has recently got a job in Toronto and WFH from Montreal because of the pandemic. Our plan is to move to Toronto as soon as getting the PR.

Now, what are all the things should I mention in the explanation letter? Any documents I can submit to support my case? I have 7 days to give my response.

Hi ,

Even I would suggest to take the PFL very seriously and get professional help form an immigration consultant/lawyer . Regulation 87.1 states that you have to be outside of quebec at the time of getting permanent residence. So the reason that you will move once you get PR can go against you . They usually accept proofs like lease agreement , job offer.

Finally my long journey has ended today.

ITA: November 18, 2020
AOR: February 14, 2021- (CEC inland)
Medical passed: March 2, 2021
June 9, 2021, addition document requested (detail of Military service)
June 14, 2021, additional document requested (proof of residency in ON)- note: I was resident of QC once I applied and move to ON 4 month after applying.
July 28, 2021, requested to send 2 photos by mail (post)
August 6, 2021, received 1st portal email- replied same day.
August 8, 2021, again they sent a reminder email for portal email.
August 9, 2021, received credentials PR portal
August 12, 2021, eCOPR

According to my talk with IRCC all stages were passed on June 17, 2021 and waiting for final decision.

Is it safe to say that my application has been approve? because I’m planning to resign this month on my current job and I don’t know if it still gonna affect my application.

It won’t affect your application. This one has been approved before you received the portal email. Otherwise you wouldn’t have received it If you ever order your GCMS notes, you will see the exact day of the final approval. My guess is that it was on the day you received your first portal email, or several days before.

5months completed. they didnot pick the calls also. I guess they stopped working on our files. May be Montreal offic is shut down.

They were already not working on our applications but now they have just stopped working on everything and moved to refugee applications.

Nothing on my side either. I think that they really stopped most activities not related to Afghanistan or other priorities they've defined.
They're not answering to webforms anymore (again if you're not a priority), and I've read that call centre agents are more reluctant to give any info... It's still possible, but it's getting harder. So, basically guys, there is absolutely nothing we can do, except wait
