Hi, I see some talk about declaring gold jewelry at customs with two categories: goods accompanying you, and goods that you'll take to Canada at a later time. However, most of that discussion is with respect to permanent residents landing in Canada for the first time. Is this applicable for work permit holders going to Canada for the first time as well? Should we also make a list of all jewelry, take pictures etc. and declare what we'll be taking to Canada years later?
