Hi, am new here can anyone guide me on how to get a caregiver job in Canada. I currently stay in the UAE, and am looking to relocate with my child to Canada. looking forward to your advices. Cheers
There really are no pathways unless you find an employer in Quebec. The Home Care pilot is closed for this year and last year was only open to those working in Canada. Search for jobs in Quebec and if you get a LMIA then you can apply for a closed work permit. Get ECA and language tests done.
Do you have sole custody? If not need parent's permission.

So once you find an employer with approved LMIA, make sure you have ECA and language tests. Quebec is a French speaking province. Your child will go to school in French. He will have to authorize child leaving the country. Remember this is temporary and not permanent residency.

Welcome That’s a great goal and yes, it’s definitely possible, but I’ll be honest upfront moving to Canada as a caregiver takes planning, the right documents, and avoiding scams.
I have 2 year diploma in social services from Ontario and currently doing job as home support worker in Ontario, IELTS cleared with CLB 9 - need help to find what pathways are available for PR - my current employer is not very keen to participate in employer driven program - Kindly suggest. I am ready to pay if there are good consultants with focus on this industry. Thank you in advance

Do you live and work outside any of the larger cities in Ontario? Do you know French? What is your current CRS score? How long to you have left on your PGWP?
