Hi, am new here can anyone guide me on how to get a caregiver job in Canada. I currently stay in the UAE, and am looking to relocate with my child to Canada. looking forward to your advices. Cheers

There really are no pathways unless you find an employer in Quebec. The Home Care pilot is closed for this year and last year was only open to those working in Canada. Search for jobs in Quebec and if you get a LMIA then you can apply for a closed work permit. Get ECA and language tests done.

Do you have sole custody? If not need parent's permission.

No, we do have joint custody and he is okay to give me the permission

So once you find an employer with approved LMIA, make sure you have ECA and language tests. Quebec is a French speaking province. Your child will go to school in French. He will have to authorize child leaving the country. Remember this is temporary and not permanent residency.
