2171 could still be borderline. If its not too much of an expense to bear, you could give it shot.

Thanks for the analyse, My designation is soft ware engineer, and Can I apply under 2172 by taking responsibilities from my senior colleague on a plain paper and with his business card attached.
I will attach service letter from HR along with that.

You can apply under 2172. Make sure your job description is matching over 60-70% with that NOC.

It is always advisable to get reference letter on your company letter head with the signature of your reporting person. If you can't provide it submit them as much as other proofs you have to prove your job description. It can be communication details with your clients, emails, job description your company given before you join, letter from senior manager, etc. Also write them an affidavit stating why you were not able to provide the reference letter. But the acceptance of that depends upon the visa officer evaluation you file. My personal opinion is applying under 2172 in this way is 100% better than applying under 2174 at this stage.

I dont think any hope for 2171. But then too dont wait for express entry is not easy to get through as many think. The criteria for it is you should score more points than those applying in the similar field. So if you don't have Canadian experience or relatives in Canada or your spouse cant contribute adaptability points, etc you go far behind the others who earn more points and ultimately your application gets removed after 1 year of keeping in the database. Find a similar NOC and try to file if you have any.

Plain paper doesent work Venu.. Before you submit any document make sure they are genuine(you sign one of the applications forms which says all the information given by you is correct and you are ok for a background check) ..remember one thing that you are dealing with embassy and the people who sit there are way 2 smarter than you ever imagine..... and worst part is if at all you get cought you would be blocked for ever...

service letter is different from Roles and responsibilities ... service letter only indicates your service period not your R and R......i have a friend who tried this trick and he failed and i have a learnt a lesson immigration is just not only about documents its also about strict verification ...and i guess you must be a hyderabadi so keep your hyderbadi. ideas out .... until you complete immigration process...

Instead i suggest you to go with your genuine roles and responsibilities irrespective of the code try your luck...competition is every where...so changing code would not work...infact it is committing suicide..

My wife has started preparing the application for NOC 0112. She has requested for WES evaluation and is planning to take IELTS on 22nd November. Our best case scenario is sending the application earliest by 15th December. Do you think there is a chance to come under the cap for 0112?

There is no conflicting information.

The google doc ONLY displays the information of people who are members of this forum and have applied. Obviously there are many many people out there who are not members of this forum and have applied. They are not listed in the google doc.
