how do you actually check for caps??? i dont understand a shit how to do that..

on the CIC Caps tab in the spreadsheet it says NOC 2174 has 662/1000

How is that capped????

The numbers on the CIC web site only reflect applications that CIC has already opened and accepted for processing. Right now they are still opening applications from the end of May. So if over 600 applications for 2174 were received in May alone - then this NOC has most certainly capped by now.

hi..ive sent my application last september 12 to cio..most probably it will be received tomorrow September 17 or 18..I am applying for NOC 3012 which currently has 97 complete applications as of end of May charging..Is it possible that my application will be included before its Cap reaches?Im very worried and bothered..I need your insights..thank you ang god bless everyone..

WARNING ON CAPPING AND ACTIONS TO BE TAKEN
Don't submit to these 3 NOCs again rather prepare your application for EE.
The reality is that these 3 NOCs-1112,2173,2174 were filled up since
mid-to late June,2014.
Be careful with NOCs 2131,2132,2171,1111 and 4011-If you are yet to submit
act as fast as you can but for 2131,2132 start preparing your application for EE
as these would have been capped early sept.2014 but if you still want to take the
risk you can try as there is no problem in trying.
For other NOCs,don't be panic but act quickly at submitting your application.
Best of luck to everybody and congratulations to those that have received
their PERs,MR and PR Visa.

Of returned application due to capping.
This will guide them to have direct and plan for the future prog rather
than running after what is not available.

Chance of making the cap is extremely low like 0.025%
You might be the luck 1000th applicant in this NOC
My advice is that start preparing for Express Entry.
