can't extend my work permit on the boarder- Help!!!

Hi guys, i need your help. I went to the rainbow bridge to apply for Bridging Open Work permit today. Officer said that he couldn't extend my visa because my nomination was expired. I tried to explain him that I have confirmation email that i applied for PR before expire of nomination (AOR). I am under OINP and i know that I can apply on Bridging permit through paper or online application, is it possible to do on border also or it depends on good will of officer?

Going to border is the last thing u wanna do. U look suspicious when going to border. do it online

You cannot apply bridge work permit at border. You have to apply online or paper application.
