In the citizenship Physical Presence section, should I only add trips outside Canada that happened while I had valid status in Canada?

For Example. The form won’t let me enter a trip from Nov 25 to Dec 2, 2021 because it says the date must be within a valid status period.

I arrived in Canada with Worker Status in Summer 2022, and stayed in Canada up until that date.

you should only enter the travel in the last five year period and when you have valid status in Canada.

You entered Canada 2022, and stay in Canada since then.

In 2021 you do not have a status in Canada, they do not care where you go.

You need to report all trips from and to Canada within the 5 years eligibility period, so from mid 2021.
What I don't understand : if you only arrived in 2022, how is there even a trip in 2021 to report? Were you in Canada in 2021 as a tourist maybe? Of is this a trip between 2 countries that have nothing to do with Canada (and thus isn't needed...)

i think if there is no valid status during the time period, and you travel between two countries totally not related to Canada, there is nothing to report. e.g: i became a landed PR in 2023, and dating back five years, i had several travel before landing like 2022, i do not think that would be something to report.. what do you think Seym.
