Hi there,
I have completed my application for spousal sponsorship inland and printed off every form except for my Schedule A as I am unable to validate it. I have filled in all the sections, personal history, address history truthfully and so it is the same as info in other forms. However every time I click to validate the form the message ''Review the personal history section, it seems like information I missing'' :: Enter most recent information first and Check to make sure of no gaps. I have checked and re-checked, even downloading a new form and filling out again but still it wont validate. I have seen on this forum that people have been having problems with overlapping however I cannot see anywhere were I have that. The only box that is red is the first year date in the last column in my personal history section showing my earliest job. Even deleting that does nothing. I will post some info and dates if that would help you guys see were I'm going wrong.

The last column is were the red mark shows up on 2014, however even if I deleted this column it just shows up on next on...so confused.
Any help please.
Thank you,
Dan.

Did you try changing ONGOING to an actual date? or any other words like present?

So the form requires personal history for the last 10 years. While you have only included the last 4 :)- hence it keeps telling you that the section is incomplete.

Question 6

Give details of your personal history since the age of 18, or the past 10 years, whichever is most recent.

Thank you for all your help.
I realised I wasn't going all the way back to 10 years however now there is literally no red boxes but when I try validate it just jumps to the 2nd page above education history and no longer says anything is missing...so I am so confused. Feel like this form is glitched even though its my second time downloading today and refilling it out...if I save it and reopen it. it points out that all my ''to'' month dates are wrong and should be greater then the ''from'' month date. But then they just fix themselves after I try Validate it but the form itself wont. So annoying...really don't want to fill it out again on new form only for it to not work.

Validate your forms
Some forms have a “Validate” button, specifically the
  • IMM 1344 (Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship agreement and Undertaking)
  • IMM 0008 (Generic Application form for Canada) and
  • IMM 5669 (Schedule A).
You should fill out your forms on a computer and validate them electronically to make sure you’ve answered all questions. This reduces mistakes and helps you submit a form that is complete. When you click on the Validate button, any missing information will be identified by a pop-up error message or a red square around the fields that need to be completed.

After being validated, the IMM 1344 and IMM 0008 will create barcode pages. When you’re preparing your application, place these barcode pages right underneath your checklist.

Note:The IMM 5669 (Schedule A) form will not produce a barcode page when it’s validated.
