Have you tried calling them to check if they have your application in the system? That's the first thing you need to ensure. Once they confirm they have the application, you can ask them for an application number (maybe a temporary one, depending on which stage your file is at) to link & track...

Then as mentioned by the forum members above, this is a case of misrepresentation and you won't be able to sponsor your wife. You would have to re-apply for PR including spouse in the application.
