Hi all,
I'm gearing up to hopefully send off my PR app (via common-law sponsorship) sometime in the near future.
In looking at IMM 0008 (yep, the new fancy one with the validate buttons)... I'm a little curious about what I should put to indicate my 'from' date in my current country of residence, Canada.
I came here originally on a study permit in Aug 2007. I am now here on a post-grad work permit that expires in 2014. Should I indicate the very first time I came to Canada on a permit in my application? I have never lived more than 2 months outside of Canada since coming here in Aug 2007, if that makes any difference.
While I know CIC will know exactly when, how, (and probably why) I've left and entered this country...would it be more accurate to refer to the start date of my current work permit? or the overall period of time I've been here?
