I am a Canadian citizen and sponsored my wife three years ago, and my stepson came with her as he is a minor. My wife has the sole custody from Pakistan, based on which my stepson got the PR. Now they are about to become citizens, but the question we have in mind is: when we apply for my stepson's Canadian passport, is the foreign court custody order or guardianship certificate acceptable by passport Canada or they have different requirement? We wanted to know beforehand.
