I am about to receive my PGWP next month and currently working in Manitoba in an NOC 2 (software dev) position under implied status. I got my bachelor degree from a BC University.
With that being said, it looks like I may be applicable to apply for MPNP through the skilled workers in Manitoba route (after 1 year of experience since I've gotten my degree elsewhere in Canada).
Without knowing how high the point for CEC would be after a year, how long is the process for the MPNP nomination, compared to CEC ?. I may have to study really hard for IELTS to surpass the 6.5 writing barrier if I were to go for CEC with 1 year of Canadian work experience. I can also work for another year (3 years PGWP) and get into CEC with subpar IELTS if I want to.
It is also possible for me to go back to BC (find a job there) and try the BC PNP tech route or even Ontario tech route. Of course, I would do this after I get one year of work experience at my current company.
Which route should I go if I want to get PR the fastest ?
