Dear All,
I need some expert to answer my question.I'm an electrical technician and coming to Canada on study permit to upgrade my Qualification. Is it possible for me to do allowed part time job of 20 hours as electrician? Can I work or any Certificate of Qualification required to do electrician part time work? Appreciate an early response.

It entirely depends on:

- What your study permit says about working

- What province you're in, since some provinces require you to have an electrical trade certificate (red seal or similar) to do electrical work, and in some provinces you'd need to be a licensed contractor and have a person who has passed the Electrical Code and safety codes exam working with you to sign off on your work.

So, chances are slim that you would be able to work as an electrician since you'd likely need to be provincially registered with a certificate of qualification.
