hello everyone,
Its so sad but unfortunately 2281, its capped.Its offically declared today by an CIC agent.I was on the phone with this agent for about 15 minutes and asked about my application and all who applied.Its been capped after 20 nov thats he told me.Whoever got charged after 20 nov will get an email from CIC explaining that noc has been capped and will get their refund.All applications after 20 nov has been returned already.Hope we all get out file back soon.I wish all the best to all my friends under 2281 to apply in Express Entry and hope to see you in canada soon.If you have any query please message me.

Are you telling me that my application dated 02nd December will be returned ?

that would be a heart break for me

i also saw somewhere that cap for 2281 filled only 715 applications until 16th December.

I don't want to hurt anyone but according to the news and current updates in threads and global spreadsheet 2281 cap has been reached after 20th November 2014.. one of the guy in another thread update this info... plz read

Hey friends,

Not want to disappoint anyone but I got a letter today from CIC stating my application wont be processed as it was received after the maximum of 1000 complete FSW app per NOC2281 was reached.

My CC was charged on 21 January .

It also stated that my application fee would be refunded .

Sad

Anyone had the same response..? Should I take it in way that the category capped?

My agent has informed me that one of his client dated 05-Dec-2014 has received his PER two days ago. And if you would have checked, then as per last update at around 07/08 December-2014 the NOC 2281 cap was 430(PER)+285(Complete application pending for PER)=715

well, CIC agent will never reveal the cap status over phone and to my conversation with agent has been resulted that my application information was not available with them. If it had been then they would have said that the application was returned on particular date. In the month of December the applications took a toll and holidays were hit so to my knowledge the applications may be undergoing completeness check. Also, the cap status as of 16th Dec was 715 & posted by CIC and I highly doubt the cap has reached.

CIC did not update cap information on website of NOC's daily.. At initial stage of May and june they update it once in a week but later in after july they start updated in 15 days may be due to work load,, but at last stage in October November and december they hardly update it once in a month.. So as per the last information of Dec 31 the cap was reached around 735 (which i know) and website was not updated from last 25 days... This can be the one reason why applicant was not able to realize the cap status perfectly...

Apart from that I remm when noc 2174 was capped suddenly in early August and applicants who received their file back in october try to hit 2281 with new profile..

In my opinion NOC 2281 was capped on 20th November otherwise there will be no reason to hold application by CIC..

I dont want to hurt anyone but bitter truth is hard to swallow

Hi, you can still apply, in fact everyone can still apply, just that applications will now have to go through EE. I encourage everyone to do so and pursue your dreams, don't lose hope.. we all made the first step, just a matter of taking another step and realize yourself moving forward to achieving you life's dream.. goodluck to us all!

Before per, my HR told me that she got a verification (paper) , to recognise me (i.e. About my employment details) but I don't think so.. I'm not able to trust her for this.. It is possible that before getting per somebody verify your company or employment or experiece?

First for all Wishes to you that you got PER on 17th Feb after submitting application on 29th Nov.. coz as per the forum updates the last applicant got PER was submitted his application on 20th Nov..

Regarding your question I think your HR may be true because we do not know how CIC or local vo is doing background and security verification.. As far as I know that the employer verification will be completed by local Visa Office not by the CIC.. but still we cannot assume how and when this process take U turns..
