So were funds the only reason? Post the reasons? What program are you applying for because usually you show some work experience in the program’s field to show career advancement, higher pay etc. to justify costs. You are a recent graduate with no work experience so unless going for a Masters, you aren’t building on career/education.
the funds were the only reason, and I graduated with a management degree and applied for a pg diploma in business administration-financial planning, they didnt seem to mind ait. But since the program is closed for january I am going to change it to financial planning postgraduate certificate of 8 months. Am I not building my career to start a financial advisory business?

I thought you applied to a 3 year program and got refused? Now applying for a 8 month certificate so how is the program still relevant. Why do you need to study in Canada for financial planning when it will be based on Canadian rules and regulations such as tax and retirement planning?

Yeah it was a 3 year program 1st, but since its closed for January I found a similar one for my 2nd attempt but with just 8 months. I didn't know retirement plannings varied from country to country tho

If you are going to apply without GCMS notes then that is your choice. As for retirement planning, of course each country is different. Canadians have RRSPs, TFSAs and some may have DB plans through their work or employer gives a percentage of funds for personal RRSPs. Canadian may get Old Age Pension through government. So different from other countries.

Thank you man, you gave me a lot of information to consider
