Hey guys,

hope someone will help me with this,
I want to inform the VISA office that I got more work experience which I want to add to my current application, but I don't know if I can do that now, after 8 months of submitting the application.

thanks in advance

Why would you need to do this?

It's not really allowed - otherwise CIC would be bombarded with people applying before they have completed their experience.

You can try it but it's risky for sure

the problem here that I have applied with around 6 months of RA/TA experience and 11 months of professional work experience after graduation. now I'm worried that the office will not consider my RA/TA experience and will only look on the other 11 months!! but I'm still working on the same position :(

Then you're asking the officer to consider your current experience and discount your previous experience.
Most people when they want to send a new letter are updating duties or something - you are basically sending a new application and not wanting to lose the past 8 months.
To be honest, I don't think they will accept that - you should prepare a new application and hope that you get through but be prepared in case you don't

Good luck

You can provide a new letter to "explain" any situation better, but I really doubt you can provide to "add more" to the situation.

CIC won't consider the additional work experience. You either meet the work experience requirements at the time when you apply or you don't.

Withdraw your current application and send a new one.. Don't wait for first one to be rejected.

I agree, as the CIC website says, a decision will be made based on the information you submit with your initial application package.

Here is advise for you. You have been waiting for 8 months now , they will give you decision in 3 month some time. if you are lucky they can consider RA/TA experience but since u applied this year I doubt they will under the new rules. Its on you if you can afford another 3 month wait for ur decision other wise withdraw it. Also they dont consider updated exp letters, my previous application got rejected because of 10 days less exp they didnt consider the updated exp letters

just to CLARIFY for everyone here, cic consider updated experience letters but they do not consider experience gained after the application received date, that was the case with your application GLADAKI and unfortunately leads to refusal.
