Can I sign my application if I am nearly 18?

I am 17 right now and is turning 18 in 2 months. Can I sign my own application? Or do I have to ask my parent to sign it?

If it says that you have to be 18, then you have to be 18. There's no such thing as "nearly" when dealing with legal forms...
