Can I send a ROS + OWP/PR inland application?

Hello all, My wife is here on visitor visa, her 6 month stay ends on feb.10th, 2016, and I'm going to be sending out our inland application within a week or so.

Since we'll be cutting it close to her visitor expiry date, I was told by the lovely people here on this forum that I can apply for a ROS (restoration of status) within 90 days after her visitor visa expiry date, if for some reason my OWP/PR inland app. is sent back due to error.

Simply put, I'd like to make sure that Im allowed to send both a ROS, and resend my OWP/PR inland application, in case they return the application due to some error.

If you are that worried, send in an application to extend her stay in January. And no your scenario is not possible (or at least not a good idea), as (she) must have status BEFORE applying inland with the OWP. So you'd have to apply for the ROS then wait even longer.

Just don't let it happen, make sure you check over your application or ask any questions here first. Much easier than having it sent back.

As I recall the ROS should be send to Vegreville and PR and OWP to Mississauga. I haven't heard of any objections to send both.

I have the same issue and after consulting with a immigration consultant , I was advised to send in restoration along with Pr application. I was even suggested I can send the OWP too but there are chances they might reject it and they might accept it too.
So with all these they might or they might not kind of advice , I have decided to send all together in next few days. Let's see if there's anyone else with the same experience.

What happens if CIC processes the OWP before your ROS has been processed and [hopefully] approved?

The answer is...it will be denied and you would have wasted $255

Absolutely you have a great point , I was suggested to write a cover letter too explaining. Honestly it's so confusing right now amidst all the forms and putting the documents together that I don't know what to do.

CIC is disorganized, and they are inconsistent. It might work but I've already read on here of people having their OWP rejected as out of status by doing this. I've even read about people having the inland OWP rejected because they processed that before the inland application, even though both were sent together. I hope they are beyond that sort of silly issue by now though. Do you want to take that risk? I think it's better to take the risk out of the equation all together by not relying on them in any way.

I am wondering if God forbid there's any error in my PR application and they decide to send it back for correction or missing information , will my ROS form will also be returned ?? Will that make me not eligible to even restore my status ?
This over whelming process has made me so negative and I always seem to think of the worse case scenario.

I understand the situation. We seem to be in the same boat. i am trying to make the application as best as possible by looking for error but everytime when I feel the forms are filled correctly , next day fresh mind reviewing , I find some silly mistakes like spelling mistakes of my own name or wrong passport number and I am like seriously ?? It's so frustrating !!
