hey all, id like to consult you guys on what steps i should take in the event that my inland application happens to be returned shortly before (or after) my wife's visitor status expires on the 10th of february.
We should have the application package sent out very soon, and as far as im concerned i understand that if the application package for my wife happens to return before february 10th, one of my options is to file an ROS which can be done upto 90 days after status expiration. During which time, while waiting for the decision for the ROS, can i resend the inland application? Or should i wait untill the ROS is accepted, and then send out my inland app? And If that were the case would i be able to resend the application after that much time without repaying the entire fee?
Does anyone know how long after sending out the inland application + Open work permit before the implied status kicks in? Im wondering if ill be waiting longer than february 10th for an answer from CIC (returned or processing), and id like to be prepared for the worst case scenario.
anyways, If anyone can give me a general rundown of how i can go about this scenaio, id really appreciate it. anything and everything helps
many thanks
