Can I get a workvisa/PR if my wife has PR in Canada ?

If she has PR, she can sponsor you to be PR. She has to be in Canada to do so.

If you are in Canada with her, you can apply for a work permit while you are waiting for the PR approval. If you are outside Canada, you cannot. It takes about a year for the PR application process to finish.

If she is not in Canada, she cannot sponsor you.
