International Experience Canada (IEC) provides young individuals the opportunity to travel and work in Canada. The Working Holiday category is designed for New Zealand citizens who intend to travel in Canada and who wish to find temporary paid employment to help pay for their stay (up to 12 months).
I have had previous work experience in Canada under a valid work permit, however do not plan to return to the same area where I was living, so will have to look for a job once I get there.
I would like to apply for PR through the EE Canadian Experience Class (as I have 2 years skilled work exp). I would like to go back to Canada in August. Can I submit my profile to EE and while waiting for the results can I go to Canada and work under the IEC visa (if PR is not approved by August)?
