1) need guidance about forms required or requirements to sponsor wife ( US green card holder ) to Canada .

2) is there any minimum period of stay required in Canada after landing as immigrant to spnsor wife (from US)...?

3) is any financial evaluation required to sponsor wife ?

thanks in advance

Hi

1. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor/spouse.asp

2. If you mean is there a minimum amount of time you must be a landed immigrant before sponsoring her, then no.

3. You have to be able to show that you can support yourselves without claiming welfare.

There is no minimum amount required; you can show you have a job, she has a job, both of your savings, family financial support or a combination of those.

Depends on the visa office and any possible red flags or complications you may have.

No, you do not need to have a job. As I previously said, you just have to show you won't go on welfare; a job is one way to do that. But if you aren't working, you can show savings and family support and that is also acceptable.

Inland applications take about 16 months right now.
