Hello, I know this has been already asked and answered on this forum but I am still really confused work experience calculation and it will be kind of you guys to help me out.

My work experience is as follow:

  1. Company A (12 August 2018 to 30 September 2020)
  2. Company B ( 12 October 2020 to July 15 2021 (as I have resigned and serving my notice period).
I want to ask if add these two experience, its near to 3 years, only few days are short. Will that count as 3 years for ITA ?

if claiming CRS for three years, then you should have three years of experience before the day of getting ITA, to be in the safe side. There are folks who completed years of experience before submitting the application.
Still the decision on the eligibility will be analyzed by the case analysts regarding the dates of completing the experience and it's their decision, maybe they'll schedule it for further review.
 
Thank you for clarifying this. One more question, right now I am on study visa and while filling imm1294 form, i mistakenly entered wrong dates in work experience section, so will this record be referenced in future when I will apply for express entry. @dankboi

All the docs and information provided to IRCC regardless of timelines which includes full name and passport details will be kept for long and it'll be crosschecked whenever they want , this procedure continues until this individual applies for citizenship.
There is always a passive surveillance on the applicant by the IRCC and border agencies which starts from the day one till further after naturalization. This is done to keep misrepresentations down.
