We finally got our notes for the refusal for the visitor visa and I am fuming angry.

They say that they are “not satisfied that he will leave Canada once given the chance to reunite with his Canadian wife”

So apparently the work contract I provided from the international school I have been working full time at, 3 years worth of Egyptian visas, bank statements from my bank over here, copies of plane tickets and pages of photographs together in Egypt, my address on the application, the affidavit from my parents, officially declaring myself a resident abroad in Egypt, along with a detailed cover letter mean nothing??

Apparently they did not even look at our application as in my opinion it is hard to reunite with someone in Canada that lives beside you and has not even visited Canada in 2 years.

Thankfully the same day we got our PPR! Lol We are sending it out later today I hope. It is averaging around a month to get it back right?

I just wonder and would like to confirm that you sent your application to CIC first time on May 15th, 2015 ! and when was it received at Cairo Visa Office ? was it 13th of July or a later date !

Hey! These are our dates,the Cairo visa office did not send us anything except PPR although we took the ecas "in process" to be like AOR2. The whole process is actually happening a whole lot quicker than we were expecting!

Application sent- May 15 2015
AOR1 - June 19 2015
SA- July 13 2015
(No AOR2)
"In procress"- August 18 2015
PPR- January 14 2016

Actually i've sent my passport last friday and it haven't reached cairo yet cuz it's stuck in uk customs, i am visiting my sister here and didn't know this would cause an issue, I don't know when they're gonna release it, I'm completely fed up

No dear, he has to land first and enter Canada, because the visa in his passport is an entry visa and it has an expiry date

So once he gets here is he considered a PR? Also how much time does the visa give you?

They informed me in the email that mine is gonna be expired in 16/6/2016, so it has to be issued in the passport and to be in canada before that date

I thought it was based on when your medical was done? Did you redo your medical and that is the new date?

No heshamkate i have made medicals in November 2014 and actually i have been approved since December 2015 but cairo visa office have been waiting for a scanned copy of my husband's new pr card because he was going through pr renewal process and he got it in 31/dec/2015
They give you 6 months visa once you're approved even if you haven't sent the passports yet

I have a question, when CIC sends an email whether it be for additional documents or passport request, do they send it to the sponsored person only, or do they send an email both to the sponsored and the sponsor.
