My package got released from uk customs yesterday, it has spent 1 week with them and it should reach cairo soon, I'm praying they get to cairo and come back to me safely with the visas without more delays

I have a question, when CIC sends an email whether it be for additional documents or passport request, do they send it to the sponsored person only, or do they send an email both to the sponsored and the sponsor.

The officer sometimes extends the medical if it gets expired to issue the visa

I wonder if Cairo visa office contacts both the sponsored and the sponsor when additional documents are needed, interview scheduled or passport request, or they just email the sponsored person.

How long does it take to issue visas?
My passports were delivered on Sunday afternoon :

it won't take time
with me it took 48 hours from the time DHL delivered the passport to them
but the pick ups only on Sundays , Tuesdays and Thursdays so it returned back after a week
So expect the visa issuance email sooooon

I think the situation is different for me because they ask for DHL only for people who send their passports inside egypt,
But when I informed them that i'm in UK they told me to send it with any courier company and include a prepaid envlope so i used UPS and i have to request them to pick up the package when the passports are ready

I do not know about outside Egypt , but when I called DHL to go to pick it up they told me that the embassy allow them to pickup on those days I mentioned before .
