I just received a massege from cairo office saying that they received our file from cpp-o and they will start processing it in order. What does that mean!! And they were doing for the last 12 month!! And how long should wait!!!

My wife received the same msg

The problem that they say in order, I have a friend that send his file in may and they start to contact his wife and mine in march and still nothing. Even both r in Quebec

I know that his application was received beggining of april and the medical was done before sending the file..so It was already expired...and by the way they extended the medical.. But didn't ask for the passport yet

Today I checked my e-case and I found the status is changed from:Application Received to In Process , But when I opened the In Process, I found : we started to process your file in 28.02.2013
??????????????????????
what does that mean !!! is does that mean we spent 12 months for nothing ???? what happened to the file during 12 months ????

really do not know what happening , I thought it is the end of the process when they contacted me , But it seems it is the start of the process may be I will wait and wait again after sending the requested documents and Re doing the medicals

Congratulation , don't worry about the date to start process ur file that's mean u r in the last step and usually it doesn't take long time. Soon Isa they ll ask for the passeport to issue the visa .

Yes you spent 12 month for nothing, I said it before

I am 100% sure CPP-O did nothing. CPP-O might have had a role before; Things are different now according to CIC agent. At 1 point CPP-O were used to help Cairo office but not any more, I also can see that on my GCMS
CPP-O did nothing but hold your file...and they don't go by any order

I think something wrong happenned to the agent who has february and march files that's why they start doing April and may first ... No comment
