i noticed that your has been updated on wednesdays, ours seems to be updating on tuesdays and i thought that was the official date that they update the files, but i guess not lol well i guess we can keep track of each other progress. yes im in ottawa my husband and i have been together almost a year now, and i think after the medical is the interview and that is only if they feel you need one. inshallah it will go right to asking you for your passport and photos inshallah.

hi eveybody,i was wondering about a matter about the medical report....
it takes one year as a expiration , so my question....from which date exactly i began to figure it out.....


i go to the doctor and gave himall requirments(x-ray& blood test) and others last january...... is it mean it will expire next january or the begining takes from another date not the one i mentioned!! :

Hi Miraa

The medical expires 1 year from the day the exams were initialy done!
If you look at the paper the doctor gives you to give to immigration, add one year to that !

Immigration is really picky when it comes to the medical part...

If your medical is expired by the time they contact you, they will ask you to redo it. This will add 2 to 3 months of delay to your application.
Do not wait for them to tell you

I contacted OttPilot (since my file is with them and I never heard from them since August 24th) 1 day before it expired and they told me my husband had redo his medical.
So to save us time, my husband redid it before they contact us for the interview... *cross our fingers*

hi mels....thank u for ur reply...my case is decision made and my file is sending to Egypt now...my medical report will expired in about 2 month...can i redo medical from my self and it won't make a mess for them? :

When you say "Decision made".. is it the sponsorship Application Status part or the Permanent Residence Application Status (PR) part ?

If the Permanent Residence section is saying Decision made, then this means that your file is completed and all you need to do is wait for them to let you know if a Visa is approved. You will not need to redo the medical.

However, sponsorship is "Decision Made" and the PR request has been received recently, my feeling is that you will need to redo the medical but I might be wrong. I've seen some application completed in 5 months and some completed closer to 1 year. You might be a lucky one

Mine is saying "in Process" (since August 15) and since we are still waiting for a decision, my husband had to redo the medical because it expired on October 28th.

If you are part of the OttPilot and you haven't heard anything closer to the expiry of the medical, I would recommend you to email them

Do you know if those people who completed 5 months or under a year were seeing regular update on the site or was it just WAM visa? Really interested in this if these people are still visiting us can you tell me thanks. Were things like receiving the medical updated on their site ect..
