Hello again ,
So i am about to file my papers to sponsor my wife from Egypt , i have a little problem though ( my Birth date was written invalid on the PR card ) all my other documents including my marriage cert. have my true date .
which dates should i put in the applications ? (in order to correct my dates in the PR i'll have to file an applications witch could take up to 6 months) ??

My other Q , they are asking if you were sponsored your self ( well my parents came to Canada on Skilled worker programe) i was a dependant with them ??

could you also please point out the page in which the steps & papers are ( i tried searching throgh the pages (just too many ))

After my wife met the MP asking her some help to speed up the process in Cairo visa office. they replied to her with the following.

The processing time for spousal sponsorship is 15 months at the Embassy in Cairo, Egypt. The file was received on 16 Jan 2013, which is still within the processing timeframe.

and thats not the true date. they received the application as it says on my Ecase on august 28th, 2012. or maybe they are counting the 15 months from the day they receive it in Cairo. if thats the case its so stupid. does anyone has explanation ? these 15 months starting from the time the cic receive the application or from the day Cairo VO receive it ?

Fix the mistake on your card and everything will be OK

Most of the others that have applied with the same time line as you have not heard anything either. Have you order your notes?

I have heard they can help you see how your file is coming along. Might be something worth looking into.

Does anybody have any information about "the notes" that can be ordered? How do I order them, what kind of the information will the notes include, at what point in the process can/should the notes be ordered, who produces the notes, will they arrive by email, how quickly, how much do they cost.....?

Are cairo applicants that are transferred to CPP-O the only applicants that stay over a year in this process !! This is a disaster!!!
