Congratulations we r in same time, I get the AOR June 26, to Quebec also, but I didn't receive anything from them. Hope we gona be the next.

It is NOT about what you do? It is about when CIC starts processing your application...My file had been collecting dirt since approval....
It seems they do many mistakes sometimes by processing some files but NOT others

My sponsorship application status has been changed from decison made to in process and permanent residence application status still application received so does it mean they r working on my application?any body assist me plz

ok guys, i have some news about another friend, sponsoring his wife and he lives in Ottawa, he applied January 23nd 2012..... his wife got a call on Wednesday as well from the embassy saying that they will ask for an extension for her medical , and the next step should be passport request

If you don't mind me asking about this friend since their case could be more similar to us:
When their file was transfered to Cairo?
What was their medical expiration date before their call?

I know that his application was received beggining of april and the medical was done before sending the file..so It was already expired...and by the way they extended the medical.. But didn't ask for the passport yet

Most of the others that have applied with the same time line as you have not heard anything either. Have you order your notes?

I have heard they can help you see how your file is coming along. Might be something worth looking into.

That is more frustrating I thought they applied Jan, 2012 according to this;
