i'm a pre-february 2008 applicant under FSW category. recently i got my CAIPS notes where i've seen that "Paper file sent to REG file BF'D to: C38 on 31.01.2013 Microlocator". can anyone please explain what does it mean?

In fact there is no important action on your file as per the CAIPS note. The file has been moved to an officer and will be taken for review on 31 January 2013.

hello igbehinadara!! i applied in september 2007 (simplified process) and sent updated docs in march 2009, nothing happend then.

it may be a positive sign.one of pre feb 2008 applicants 2005 updated in 2009, recently got his MR.http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/2006-damascus-applicants-t29102.2100.html

@ drsaini... thanks. in my CAIPS it showed they allocated me 10 points only from my age; PSDEC, SELDEC all were "0". do you think it might be a positive sign as well?

it is a bit dicey since points allocated only for age.but since cic had already updated ur docs, they must have established that u qualify with enough points.maybe VO had allocated points on paper file manually n not electronically.
