Hello all,

I applied under SDS on 22nd January and got a BVL request the same day. I booked an appointment for VFS and they didn't get back to me as of today. Is there anything I can do to expedite the biometric enrolment process?

any information on this will be much appreciated.

That's not a BVL, it's called BIL ( instruction letter ). You can't expedite the process.

Decision is about to be finalised, probably soon within weeks. Usually longer the medical update gap higher the chances that it will be approved.

I actually got 2 aips, one on 9th sep and other on 19th jan

When your biometric got updated in gc account, I too got AIP on 19th Jan 2021 medical passed on 11th Jan 2021 and Bio 18th Jan 2021. Applied on 6th Nov 2020 SDS

Hello, Even I got 2nd AIP on 21st January, which office is processing your visa. Mine is Abudhabi. Are you doing Masters or Undergraduate studies.

Eligibility- not started yet
Medical - not updated yet

when I called the immigration help desk team they said that there is no update on the file other than the comments: (application number and type of application)

when could I expect an updates? what are the chances of approvals?

Nothing has started, too soon to judge the status. Depends on your profile.

@Ironclad - I am worried because this is my 4th application

My previous 3 applications are refused with generic message that VO is not convinced that will not leave canada after my education
