A bit flustered about booking biometric appointment for my parents.
There is no VFS VAC center in the state my parents reside in. So they have to fly out and stay overnight in a hotel in another state for their biometric appointment. When I went on the VFS site, I realized that there is no line of sight of the earliest appointment date, nor can dates be changed on request (how do these archaic facilities thrive??) The date will be assigned offline and they would email the dates.
Any pointers as to - How many days lead time is there between appointment request on VFS site and appointment date?
If our desired appointment date is a Tuesday or Wednesday, will submitting the request on the previous week Thursday be enough lead time?
