already changed to decision made last week. I heard that once we finished landing, it will change to " completed". but at that time, who cares.. I won't go to check Ecas now.

Thanks Family - So the week before was it 'Medicals have been received' and then after a week it changed to 'Decision made' - 2 STEPS?
Thanks and enjoy the company of your family.

I went downstairs and wait for the mail man, I got the passports and forms.. just passports, COPR, letter with some requirements for landing and the immunization requirements for my 15 years old boy. I can see the proof of sufficient funds refers to http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp which is the same link when you apply so as per that one people who already has a job it says: "You do not have to show that you have these funds if you have arranged employment in Canada." I will just take my pay stubs and some statements just in case but I have seen before with other people that they have not had to show bank statements since they were already working here in Canda. I will also take job confirmation letter just in case as well. So I am all done...ready, I think I will go either this afternoon or tomorrow if I can get the letter soon.

by the way, they stampped one photo in the form and the other one has been returned I will take another set of photos just in case..

Superboy - Those are excellent information. Thanks for sharing. If you take your 1) Job Acceptance letter 2) Few Pay-stubs 3) Employment Id. Card and 4) Business card, you should be fine. It does not hurt to print a bank statement online too.

How far is the drive from Vancouver.

COngratulations to you and tour family, my friend.

Looks like Chigirl is DONE with us. She had enough of our lectures. LOL

It's about 30 minutes drive from where I am now located..I will have to hold just a bit because I was reading the immunization record for my 15 years old boy so it will have to be signed by a qualified professional or I need to see if I can obtain an immunization record straight from BC Healthcare

i want to ask , for the immunization record, if they kids are already in school, i think we do not have to fill it, right? because
my elder son is in grade two here already, and my younger one is 2.2/2 years old only..

4mfamily, I just finished talking to a lady in BC health department of immunization and she is going to leave my son's immunization record at the switch board so I can pick it up tomorrow plus I am also going to send the .pdf format form provided by immigration just to have them looking at it and see if I can use either one of them (immigration one or health department one)...

Good luck with that. I think we are good with that since our daughter is 6 months old and she already had 3 immunization and we have the Saskatoon's Health Region's paper work on those. Sigh!

Super - Is the Immunization just for kids or for dad and mom too!

Congrats Superboy and 4mfamily.

Can u apply for citizenship immediately, since u guys (super & sept15) must have been in Canada for quite some years???

no, I heard that they count half of the period you stayed in Canada when you were as a work permit.
