CIC received my medical on JULY 15 and I did not hear from them ever since. I had my GCSM notes couple days ago which says that security check is not started yet.
I think based on our nationality we have to wait long time for this security check.

Hello hamid, u dont need to worry. Actually I got my gcms in august and it showed nothing was started no eligibilty, no security, no criminality. Only medical received but thanks to God I got ppr within 2 months. So dont get disappointed.

Same situation here. They mentioned that it's not been started yet. I'm May 2010 applicant under FSW3.

I do not agree, because a friend of mine(the same nationality as ours), who applied 2,3 months sooner than me, and got his medical at the same day as me, received his PPR two weeks after doing his medical. I do not know when they asked him for updated docs, but it was very close to his MR. another friend who has the same timeline as his, got his medical and update doc request and RPRF, all together, almost 10 days ago!
I mean, everything is random in CIC. Not predictable at all.......

My ecas does not say medical received etc.//
