The CIC received my passport on Sept. 20 as well, but the tracking number is not active yet...

I sent my passport by Canada XpressPost, but the Canada website does not show that my passport is delivered to CIC. the last message in the track is "Out for Delivery". Is it the same for you too or not?
I asked the Canada post, and they said it is delivered because the destination is government and there are a lot packages, they have not scan the barcode at the last step. I am worry,

When did you send the parcel and when is the expected time for delivery?

When did you send the parcel and when is the expected time for delivery?

I sent the parcel on Sept 19, and the parcel arrived to Ottawa on Sept 20. In Sept. 20, its status is "out for delivery" but it has not been delivered yet, or it does not show that it is delivered.

I called the Canada post, they said it has been delivered. From the other side, I asked my friend and she said that for her it has been delivered and the status shows that it is delivered. For me, it is strange.

Do I have to trust Canada post or Do I have to contact CIC to be sure that my passports are delivered.

Do you have any idea or ...?

Please don't call me crazy but I guess i was so excited that I din't pay attention to anything. I got the request for RPRF n medicals for FSW file on 16th Sep 2013...paid the rprf but did not receive the medical form.

And after emailing CIC, suddenly on october 01, 2013 I got the medical form. I am done with the medicals but I realized today only that the medicals were for my CEC file. And now I am confused what to do. Can somebody please advise should I be concerned or not about my files.

One question.... I'm FSW2, once you get you passport with the visa... In how long you have to fly to canada... I mean, do you have a limit time to travel?

I guess there is an expiray date on the visa, but I am not sure how long.

nop not yet i am waiting but i will follow up with them next week if i dont here anything this week ..i am monitoring my tracker constantly...next week will be exactly two months from the time i have send my passport. So God willing this week i should hear something.

Why is it taking very long for FSW to get passports back? I have some friends under CEC application and most of them got their passorts with in two weeks including the days of delivery. I sent mine 3 weeks ago, and the tracking number is still not active.

This frustrating process is not gonna come to an end! Today I sent them updated documents they requested for. Does anybody have any idea about how long does it take to hear back from them for PPR?

Today I received the email to pay the RPRF and submit the medical exams for myself and my family within the next 60 days and that they will send me the forms for the medicals in the next 24 hours.

My timeline is as below:

Category: FSW2
Application submitted: 9th Feb 2012
AOR Received: 6th March 2012
File transferred from Buffalo to Ottawa: 15th November 2012
RPRF and Medicals Request: 8th October 2013

I have a friend who was FSW, and she got back her passport in 1 day(when her passport had been delivered to CIC, next day the return track number of her passport had been activated). There is no rule, and cases are different.

Wow...she is lucky ..well in my case they lost my passport the 1st time when i sent it to states to their Detroit office ...this is second time i am sending it after they did a complete re-evaluation of my file n requested all the documents again. so she is really lucky i must say..

Congratulations! Thanks for the update! Looks like they start to prepare for review applicants from 2012. It seems to me that the team that is sending doc request is doing well in Ottawa and the team responsible for printing corps and sending them with passports back (which seems to be much easier and faster operation than review) has a big backlog
