Please, please, please, lets be careful about the language we use here. Though we are understandably frustrated we must not get carried away and use derogatory words. I'm sure CIC workers are equally frustrated with workload and undesirable conditions of service. They also have the right to demand better conditions. If anything at all, we should be upset with those who are refusing to accede to their request. Don't worry your turn will come soon, we're all hoping and praying for the best. Lets rather wish them well and pray for strenght for them so they can process with more speed

hey Samnov.... congrats for ur son..

i had same case like you.. i applied in Jan 2011.... and had a son last year in march 2012...
you can only update with birth certificate and passport... birth certificate is the proof that you really had a child...
i updated everything after two months with birth certificate... & passport..
as my son was Canadian.. so no need to pay for fees..
but in you case yes you will have to pay...

Yes Jayson, I received My GCMS note on 9th September ... The last activity on my application was a "Paper Transfer" within Ottawa on 29th July. I am going order another at the end of this month.

I had my son in Oct 2012 in Canada however i have not informed CIC about it as my lawyer said not to.. Do you think it can create any issues in future.. FYI we have received passport request..

I sent them all update form and original police clearance
And sent a cover letter to New York
In that my lawyer explained that I don't have LMO
I don't required LMO
When I applied in dec 2009 only AEO need to immigration not LMO
More over when I got rejected in from Ottawa that they rejected my case on the Basis of not valid AEO

No point to talk regarding LMO and my AEO is valid according to federal court

I have the same problem as yours I received an email from DS01608 yesterday asking me to provide LMO which I do not have because I only have AEO at the time that I applied. Also I left canada after my PGWP expired in 2011. I also don't have a lawyer so you think it's ok to explain my case? My employer is willing to give a current letter of job offer. I hope that would do. Please anyone who had experienced my situation kindly help on what is the best thing to do.
