Buffalo to Ottawa Transferred Cases(FSW) - Pls join here

hello guys,
please help or give me any ideas how long the process can takes and which way can go!!

we sent our application with arrangement employment on December 27,2011 and FEW CIO Sydney received on january 3,2012 on February, 23 2012 we got first mail saying:

The Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism issued instructions which were published in the Canada Gazette on June 25, 2011. These instructions specify that only applicants who have work experience in certain listed occupations or applicants who have an offer of Arranged Employment and that are accompanied by the results of the principal applicant’s English or French language proficiency assessment are eligible to be processed in the Federal Skilled Worker class.


"Based on a review of the information you have provided, your application has received a positive final determination of eligibility for processing on the basis of Arranged Employment in Canada."


"Your application will be forwarded to a visa office for further processing."

I applied as a painter and attached all support documents !!!

we live in usa so from Buffalo application i guess was transferred to Ottawa !!

Since then we unfortunately we didn't get any replays from them!!! my arrangement employment will expire on September 2013 and I am afraid that i will lose whole process !!
Should i write any letter to CIC ????

Please share if anybody has similar situation !! Thank you!!!

hi i am in the same boat , i applied for permanant residency on 6 december 2011 , inside canada with arrangement employement , my file was transefered from buffalo to ottawa on june 2012 , after that no news concerning my file , did anybody applied in 2011 got some news from ottawa

How do we know if the application is FSW1 or FSW2? Is it mentioned anywhere in the application package?

been waiting for almost 2 years, does anyone know the difference on "assess" and "process"? because on the website they posted the MI-3 applicants will be assessed this year and im confused if after the "assessment" stage i'd still be waiting for my medical request...

Assess means they will review your file but cannot promise to finalise by this year. So, i think all MI-3 will be hanged up till next year

Hi ubharat: FSW2 is the arranged employment option. If you do not have arranged employment you are FSW1.

i just received PPR by email today. They gave me 15 days to submit my pp to Newyork office.
I hope the best for all of you fellas still waiting for PPR.

Just a quick question from those who submitted their PP to NY from Canada: Do you have any idea if I can include prepaid return envelope for PP? If yes, what courier you have used.
