Buffalo to Ottawa Transferred Cases(FSW) - Pls join here

Hi Friends,


I have to send photographs with exact Canadian specification to Canadian embassy in NY for PR.I went to CVS,Walgreens etc they just do 2 by 2 for US. passports.

Any body who is moving from US. to Canada, How and where did you get Photographs in US with exact Canadian immigration?.

I live near to Boston,US.

Ok what you have to do is just goto CVS and ask them for USA passport size photographs that 2*2. Then cut it into the sixe the have given at home by measuring with ruler. I always do the same thing, because the face specification is same once you measure only the differnece is with borders.

ok they got me - i will go for CEC, lawyer and MP said it will be assessed this year, but about the MR and PPR it can be ... sometimes, anytime ... so you can expect to be still at the same point in 2014.

If you have been relying (and still rely) on what MP says, then you must be frying yourself up. For God's sake, the MP is a politician!

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on June 28, 2010
We transferred your application to the Buffalo office on July 7, 2010.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on February 1, 2012
and two week back i got my medical on 28th feb and i send them the fee and medical receipt on 7th of march
WHEN SHOULD I EXPECT PASSPORT REQUEST FROM OTTAWA.

Same here. I'm going for CEC. Got my new English assessment test next month...

I followed up with my MP's constituency office to see how my file was progressing. They informed me that my criminality checks were still in progress but that they indicated my med. request should be on the way soon. Possibly within 6 weeks. She advised me not to apply for CEC as I was close to seeing some real progress.

Have you applied GCMS notes? Are you done with the eligibility selection thing? In my notes, i can see criminality is in progress...but eligibility selection has still not started According to your situation, may be i can also expect to hear soon. I am MI3 applicant

com2canada and trick sir, my friend had finished his documents check up at Detroit CIC office on Monday if you have guts or dare to talk to him call him zero zero one - 2 2 4 - seven seven eight -03- 9 six , hi name is bhavani, call him he will teach you everything what is going on in CIC Detroit office, I think you guys just want to fight with somebody always right ..why don't you think in such a way that even buffalo office closed lot people got emails from buffalo office did you even notice that in forums, call him and you get the facts , don't try to teach others with out knowledge keep your things weel don't try to make mess others thanks for understand and sorry if I hurt you , but I got angry just because my own friend went to Detroit CIC office even then you guys are teching me so sorry and call him and get the facts byee and tc

Hi Weyland - I applied shortly after you in August 2011, and reached out to my MP about 7 business days ago. Haven't heard back from their office yet, but hope I get similar news that my med request will be on the way shortly. I will update once I hear from them.

I didn't think I should dignify him with a response. I guess he is too smart not to have figured out that Detroit office has been closed since Jan 28/29 irrespective of his friend's situation. And I think people with a "Dr." in front of their names should know better.

Yes, its ok to have two addresses. You need to mention both if do not use your house address to recieve physical mail.

For e.g if you have a lawyer representing you, your mailing address will be your lawyer's address as all correspondence will go there and obviously you will have ahouse address.

Got my PR Cards in hand today. I had them mailed from canada to the US.

Journey is over after almost 3 years. Not sure when i am going to go to canada though
