Hi All, I applied under Arranged employment in May 2011 and got no news. I was wondering if anyone knows what the chances are they will request for copy of personal Tax returns? Also, my lawyer told me to apply under CEC. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Guys,
I received my CAIPS notes today but no progress. I have the same status of my application since May 2011. My timeline is close to Nadeem but i am FSW1 - MI2...i guess Ottawa will not going to look at our (FSW1) files till end of 2013. Please find my timeline on left.

Any thoughts on when i will hear some news from Ottawa?

First of all Congratulations to Nadeem. Nadeem - you are on lucky guy as I have not seen a single case of 2011 being approved in recent times.

I also applied under Arrange employment category - FSW2 in June 2011 and until now, no news.

I have asked for my CAIPS notes, instructed my lawyer to send an inquiry and planning to contact MP next week. I am not sure if these things gonna help me but atleast I will have some idea on timelines.

@joec19: I'm already in Canada on Work Permit since 2009 in Toronto, once I got my passport back with COPR I'll probably do Inland landing instead of going to Niagara.


@ bahadur30: I know this is a frustrated wait but I sent an email to Jason Kenney regarding my case and ask him to for their special attention and then I keep bugging my MP after a month or two but only send once or twice the CSE inquiry to CIC. I don't know if this is okay or not but in my case this works like a charm.

Trying pulling up your GCMS notes and asking your updated status from your MP, I hope you'll get some news or at least a time frame, According to my case when I did my Medical after 15 days I asked my MP and he return me an email saying CIC informed him that my case will be finalize in May-2013. So, I'm almost there.
