Today my ecas changed to decision made, keeping fingers crossed-- hope this will be a positive decision.
Still count down clock is ticking....

Has anyone living in Canada (not USA) been asked for passport since October 2013?
It seems only USA residence (or majority are US residence) are being contacted by CIC and asked for passport!
Am I right?

hi string when did you submit your final doc , i mean the FBI report along with all documents or submitted seperate ? after submitting all the documents including FBI how many days it took to get PPR ?/please give me some idea

and a question to everybody , first we will get email from them for PPR or we have to check online status for decision made?? please reply anybody , as i submitted all the documents a month ago i got an email juat 10 days back to submit a new FBI i submitted last week reached by this monday , so so tension what to expect nest

Passports valid for more than 6 months. Since the visa is valid for one year, CIC issues visas based on the person with the earliest expiry date if less than one year.

If you did emedicals, they may use the same passport pictures taken; otherwise you would have to send new passport photos with specifications listed on the CIC website.
