Buffalo to Ottawa Transferred Cases(FSW) - Pls join here

didn't expect it, of course.... also.... last weekend i ordered another CAIPS last weekend to see whats going on since July... well, now i know where my completed file is..... lol

Do you have any idea what happens when you send your passport other than stamping?

do they check again any thing or just give you visa?

If i'm right, they will just check "again" that you are who you are, to make sure the right person sends/has the passport.
And, if you send your Passport from abroad, (Outland Application) (not a copy like me) then they might add a counterfoil (a sticker) in your passport, which is technically your visa.

That probably the check any way they do. I am just curious that they may again verify the application and go through it again.

received file number on April 2011, and no news since then, sometimes they are telling me in process and some other times in queue for processing and I don't know the difference, even my ecas is saying received be visa office since then and it didn't change till now.

any help, any similar case, any predictions?
am really very frustrated and don't know what to do :'( everything in my life is delayed because of this delay ???

From my personal case Inqueue means the complet application is there but waiting for an officer to review It usually they will send you medicals or a request for update info etc when an officer reviews it and e case changes to in process again it is just my case but Not
necessarily applicable to every case.

oh buddy it is so painfully process for no good reason specifically for applicants who have been in Canada for
several years but nothing can be done except patientice

I don't know either. They didn't communicate. People know about their file transfer from GCMS note. Also it they haven't let you know, they it was transferred to Ottawa by default, as their website says.

I knew about file transfer from a friend they didn't contact me!!!!!...so I have sent them an email and they answered back after 2 month to say yes we have your file here in ottawa!!! but also what i did know is all buffalo files are transfered to cpp-ott. so what you can do is send an email...hopefully that was helpful
