We got an email from Ottawa that our application has been xfered to mexico city on APR 15th 2013. (email text is same as above)

Time line:
FSW2
Application filed FEB 1st week 2011.
AOR on MAR last week 2011.
xfered to Ottawa in 2012 MAY.
No medical request. Did Advanced medicals in JUN 2012.
No outstanding PCCs, all are still valid.
Medicals received @OTTAWA, confirmed in recent CAIPS report.
Recent CAIPS (one month old) has no information on criminality/background checks.

No, no idea. I checked on Trackitt and there are no updates on FSW application in this office since October 2012 LOL

From these recent emails from Ottawa office, we can say that now Ottawa has start working on 2011 Application with job offers. At least Ottawa is transferring these applications to other visa offices for processing.

I guess that will make our process (without job offer applicants) little bit faster.

100% agree ! and my condition is the most ridiculous one! because I am the main applicant, but my husband got a job offer a few months ago and we add it to our application profile. What's gonna happen to me? GOD knows!!!

I got the same email from Ottawa. My application was transferred to Mexico City's VO in order to process it more quickly. I also have a job offer and I've been working in Toronto since 2009.

Hey guys,

After applying for PR in March 2010, submitting medical in May 2012, yesterday I finally got an email from Ottawa instructing me to send my passport to NYC Consulate for PR visa issuance within 15 days. Whole family was happy yet my husband and I got into a fight. The arguement was whether our little child's birth has to be reported to CIC. (both my husband and child are Canadian, I applied for PR under FSW, not family sponsorship. I am in Canada on a work permit. Our baby was born last year after my medical was done. My husband and I got married a few months after the submission of my appllication and I DID reported that to CIC).

My husband insisted that our child birth has to be reported to CIC and hold off on sending my passport to NYC for now. My view is my application totoally had nothing to do with my child since I am applying under FSW not family sponsorship. Also she's born in Canada and holding Canadian passport already so I won't need to sponsor her on a later stage for PR. Therefore I don't need to inform CIC which I am sure will further significantly slow down the finalization of the visa issuance (because my file was processed in Ottawa and now the passport needs to be sent to NY so inter-office communication will definitely take much longer time).

Would you please let me know what you think? Thanks a lot!

I would talk to a lawyer... Seems to be a very particular situation. The average cost per hour is between $150-$250

I also got the same email today that my file has been transferred to Mexico City.

I applied December 2010, received PER July 2011 and no word since then until today

I have a job offer and have been working in Ontario since 2011

Mexico City processing times are 16 months, you can start counting 16 months since Mexico City received the file. Ottawa office it says 15 months, that is 15 months since since they received the files, last year in July. To tell you the truth, I'm happy I did not get an e-mail with files transferring to Mexico, it could very well be another year and a half from now on for those unfortunate people....

I don't think 16 months processing time applies to Mexico City transferred applications.16 months processing time is for the applications initially filed at the VO.
The email text from Ottawa has "We ask you to be patient and wait until our office contacts you within the next two months" so I am cautiously optimistic. Our MP office is going to follow up in couple of weeks and mean time I will send new GCMS request.

RPRF and updated history request received from Ottawa: Feb,2013

RPRF paid and History updated: Mar,2013

NExt step :: dont know...., what is expected next....dont know....
will i receieve ppr or another medical request dont knnow.

Friend applied for Fedral in May,2012 --> received RPRF in Mar,2013 --> recevied PPR inApril 2013--> received PR
Today.

So am i an applicant for July 2011 ?? or Dec 2010.
What is the next step after receiving RPRF request.
