Buffalo Processing Time line 2010/2011

Hello All,
I submitted my Application to the Buffalo Office and they recieved it on the 28 April 2011,got my Aor(email) -7th September 2011, and i got a Reciept for my Draft with a file number on 21st Sept 2011. No Medical Yet and my previous employer got a call from the Buffalo Office, Confirming that i use to work there and My current Workplace didnt recieve any call yet. Wondering whats going on and does that happen often?

well it has now been 11 full months and still nothing :'( I have tried emailing calling and not getting anything in reply other than the normal email stating wait times etc.. so much for 13 month with the PNP... somehow i dont think i will get med reqs and everything that comes after done in 2 months but heres hoping!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got my email from buffalo office on 2 Sept 2011 regarding application received but I didnt get any medical exam request .I am ontario nominated and filed my application to buffalo office 11 April ,2011.

First congrats for your PR done and such a quick visa processing .Secondly, i wanna ask PR visa is issueed for 5 years as i heard but wht about if you passport is expiring next year ----?

@Arora17: that's scary. I got a phone call from PNP Officer once last year before they gave me Ceritificate

I have been waiting from last year. Hopefully get it soon. Until now, my status has not changed. Still in APPLICATION RECEIVED. Should I call Buffalo office. I did Medical on June 8, 2011 and it sent on July 8, 2011.

Watch your mail. We have similar timeframe. I got AOR via email on Sep 2, MR on mail on Sep 19

Yeah in the email it appears I am in the pilot process. Hope it speeds up my app a bit

Did you get the email from Ottawa as well?

My file still in process at Buffalo but I got MR fairly quick, only 5 mths after submission. I dont want to be transferred

It's single-entry for both my wife and myself. Once you land, they will cross it out meaning that you won't need a Canadian Visa to enter again as a PR. But again, if you want to travel during the time from landing to getting PR Card, you will have to apply for a TRAVEL DOCUMENT (PR VISA ABROAD) which is NOT recommended.

Thanks mate. I don't think PR Visa is issued for such a long time i.e. 5 years. My passport is valid till 2014, my work permit is valid till 2013 and yet I got Single-Entry PR Visa valid for 10 months.

Can you please check that ur online status shows ur address --I never saw my address on my online status before but today i saw this change tht my address shows up----did u find anything like tht in ur case

Hi guys
I am just about to submit my PR application to buffalo. But, I am having some problems regarding the application.
1. In the buffalo application checklist, it said to provide the proof of admission. I am comfused about that do I only need to send the photocopy of my post-graduate work permit as it shows admission for more than 1 year. Do I also need to send the photocopy of my previous study permits and the canada entry stamps as well.

2. Does all the photocpoies of the documents need to certified or just the photocopy of the documents will be good as its not mentioned anywhere to have certified photocopies of the documents.

3. Can I just make a one bank draft of 1040 (550 process fee +490 RPRF) for both the processing fee and RPRF.

1. U can give a photocopy of your study permit and your latest work permit.. If you have it just give it..
2. U dont need to certify any copies..
3. U pay only 550 processing fee now, u pay rprf when they request to you(normally when they request your passport)
